As an accomplished architectural designer, James Hogden founded Odd Shop with a passion for innovative design that enhances the lives of his clients. With a background in Architecture and Construction, James brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project. Through the balance of simplicity and refinement, he creates spaces that inspire and where clients love to live. 

Originally from Devon, England, James holds several degrees along with a Masters of Architecture from The University of Colorado. During his academic journey, James honed his skills in design drafting, architectural history, and sustainable practices. James held a TA role whilst gaining his Masters of Architecture. He has worked with renowned architecture firms, where he played a key role in conceptualizing and executing projects of various scales, showing an ability to balance aesthetic appeal with practical considerations. 

With 10+ years of experience in the field, James has contributed to a diverse range of architectural projects. His work has been featured in Modern in Denver. As a Design Principal, James continues to shape the built environment with an unwavering commitment to excellence, sustainability, and visionary design. With a proven track record of successful projects and a passion for pushing creative boundaries, James / Odd Shop are poised to make significant contributions to the world of architecture in the years to come.

Taylor Holm Carlisle is an architectural designer and multi-disciplinary artist whose work is centered on celebrating great craftsmanship and fostering genuine connection with people and place.

Resonance was created out of an ethos that architecture & design is a portrait of the relationships between all involved - client, designer, contractor and artists alike. He is passionate about creating work that is uniquely attuned to the needs of the client and that comes together as seamlessly as possible throughout construction.
 
Previously, Taylor worked at Olson Kundig where he apprenticed under founder Jim Olson on international residential projects and competitions. He has also held positions at Allen Guerra Architects, the Colorado Center for Community Development, Spark Design Build and Noyes Art Designs.

Taylor’s work has been shown in Modern in Denver,  Architizer & Dwell. He holds a master of architecture from the University of Colorado Denver, where he joined Colorado Building Workshop and helped earn the AIA National Small Project Award, and a bachelor of fine arts in 3-dimensional art & design from Pacific Lutheran University.
